Job Summary

A vendor for libraries has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Software Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Taking ownership of one product and its complete software development lifecycle
  • Being responsible for the full-stack development and maintenance of the product
  • Solving complex technical problems both individually and as part of a team

Qualifications Include:

  • 7+ years experience in software development using object-oriented languages
  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals
  • Penchant for solving problems including but not limited to performance optimization and scalability
  • Ability to communicate clearly, learn new technologies, and apply newly gained knowledge
  • Motivation to constantly improve professional skills and products to delight customers
  • Ability to work with and as part of a remote, distributed team
