Job Summary
An engineering and electronics company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Software Developer in Mount Prospect.
Must be able to:
- Serve as a technical expert in the installation, configuration, and implementation of Java-based technologies
- Formulate system scope and objectives by analyzing user requirements
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or 8 years experience in a similar role
- Must have professional experience with developing J2EE portal platforms
- Must have professional experience with designing and developing front-end technologies
- Must have professional experience with deployment within UNIX environment and server setup
- Must have professional experience with consuming web services including REST and SOAP
- Telecommuting permitted 1 day/week
