Job Summary
A progressive public policy advocacy group has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Writing code and leading projects that span the entire software stack
- Debugging, analyzing, and resolving scaling problems across a variety of web applications
- Creating and contributing to open-source projects that share innovations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Currently fluent in at least one programming language and web development platform
- Experience carrying a six month-long project over the finish line
- Experience debugging and resolving a major production problem
- Proven ability to fearlessly tackle complexity
- Interest in technical leadership and in building a software engineering environment
- Passionate about mentoring and coaching other engineers
