A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Software Engineer in the Emeryville Area.
Must be able to:
- Building the tools that our scientists use on a daily basis
- Building a world-class discovery pipeline for next-generation therapeutics and bio-derived products
- Providing continuous feedback to dev and software teams
Position Requirements Include:
- Some travel to the office
- Degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Engineering
- Experience applying machine learning in NGS, metagenomic, or closely related domains
- Experience with genome sequence assembly and annotation
- Experience building and running containerized bioinformatics workflows at scale
- Excellent communicator who can clearly explain complex concepts to non-experts
