Job Summary

An information technology company is in need of a Telecommute Senior Software Java Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participating in and driving design within tools, and across multiple products
  • Implementing cutting edge software solutions used in some of the largest scale applications
  • Fostering the development community surrounding both proprietary, and open source products

Position Requirements Include:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering and expertise in Java development
  • Command of asynchronous and concurrent programming concepts
  • Experience with languages such as Scala, Python, C#, Node.js, or C++
  • Experience with distributed databases (DataStax Enterprise or Cassandra in particular)
