Job Summary
A software and service advisory firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior Software Revenue Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing sales arrangements to validate bookings and ensure proper recognition of revenue
- Driving the professional development and coaching of the team
- Supporting the continued adoption of ASC 606 and implementation of an advanced revenue recognition tool
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Industry experience, specifically software company with both product and services revenue
- Ability to efficiently provide high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to research and apply applicable accounting guidance
- Ability to communicate complex scenarios and topics in a clear and ingestible manner
