Job Summary

A service management company has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Software Testing Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Test software programs to comport to specifications and documentation
• Identify, analyze and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions
• Work closely with development engineers

Qualifications Include:

• Experience performing manual and automated application testing and 508 Compliance testing experience
• Solid understanding of technical concepts including Application Development, Application Testing, Infrastructure and Database management
• Hands on experience working within a structured AGILE development environment and experience using JAWS
• Experience with IDE such as Eclipse, Rational tools, Spring Framework
• Experience with developing and executing test scripts and experience with Federal Government software development programs
• Hands on experience working within a structured AGILE, a .NET development environment and IBM Rational Tools Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience
