Job Summary

A telecommunications service provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Translate business requirements into technical applications
  • Design, implement and test large-scale projects
  • Design and develop new functionalities using Java and expose them using REST APIs

Qualifications Include:

  • Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable production quality back-end systems
  • 5+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Java
  • Strong skills in Postgres, Oracle and experience in writing basic SQL statements
  • 1-2 years of experience with some flavor of Linux, e.g. CentOS, Fedora or RHEL
  • Strong aesthetic sense, commitment to pixel perfection and appreciation for UX
