Job Summary
A non-profit organization is seeking a Telecommute Senior Statewide Organizer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create strong, trusted relationships with group leaders and activists
- Work closely with group leaders and activists to build leadership skills and structures
- Develop stronger statewide coordination among groups and activists
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 20% travel over the course of the year
- Strong understanding and analysis of power
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in community, labor, movement, or electoral organizing
- Experience developing and implementing field plans
- Ability to train activists in skill development, power-building, and strategic planning
- Ability to tackle problems with actionable plans
