Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Structured Query Language Airflow Software Development Engineer Assistant Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines and data processes
  • Maintaining and enhancing our AWS infrastructure to support the efficient execution of ETL processes
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers in the team

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SQL development and AWS Redshift
  • Expertise in Apache Airflow, including the creation of custom operators and plugins and DBT
  • Strong experience in working with AWS services
  • Understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of Python and its libraries for data manipulation and processing
