A financial services company is seeking a Telecommute Senior Structured Query Language Airflow Software Development Engineer Assistant Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines and data processes
- Maintaining and enhancing our AWS infrastructure to support the efficient execution of ETL processes
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers in the team
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SQL development and AWS Redshift
- Expertise in Apache Airflow, including the creation of custom operators and plugins and DBT
- Strong experience in working with AWS services
- Understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of Python and its libraries for data manipulation and processing
