A defense company has an open position for a Telecommute Senior Systems Engineer in Arlington.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Planning, setting up, maintaining, and supporting SMEIR deployments
- Installing and maintaining departmental IT services
- Maintaining and administering virtual and physical computer networks
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum of five (5) years of network engineer, systems engineer, or infrastructure operations experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with VMware ESX, vCenter
- Working knowledge of network and web related protocols
- Ability to explain system specifications and functionality to customers
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
