Job Summary
A staffing agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Systems Engineer in San Francisco.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Installing, configuring, maintaining and testing server hardware
- Supporting anti-spam, web-filtering, network perimeter defense appliances and remote access solutions
- Managing and supporting storage and virtualization platforms deployed by the firm
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attend meetings and gather requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management and experience managing complex technical development projects
- Good understanding of existing network programs and capabilities
- Must be comfortable working in and around construction sites and must be skilled in technical crisis management
- Knowledge of telephone systems and IT systems planning as relates to construction
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Microsoft operating system based servers
- Expert knowledge in all company-specified technologies
