Job Summary

An internet security company is filling a position for a Telecommute Senior Systems Engineering Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining a team of high-performing Sales Engineering (SE) resources
• Creating customized training and enablement plans for individual team members
• Monitoring territory/account forecast; ensuring that opportunity roadblocks to technical closure are removed or minimized

Skills and Requirements Include:

• May require travel throughout an assigned region with little advance notice
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Management
• 8+ years demonstrated management or supervisory-level experience
• 10+ years demonstrated pre-sales experience
• Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and managers at Symantec and in customer environments
• Ability to handle project management responsibilities for implementation of company related solutions
