Job Summary

A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Technical Engineer in Boston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide a quantifiable and awesome customer support experience for all our users
  • Work with Customers to troubleshoot software problems in both cluster and single server environments
  • Interact with our Engineering Team to drive to resolution the most challenging issues

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Ability to do remote and some on-site consultancy and training
  • Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk, etc)
  • Experience with at least one programming language, e.g. C++, Java, Javascript
  • Network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, HTTP) and root cause analysis experience
  • Unix/Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, CoreOS) experience
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, and SQL or NoSQL technologies
