Job Summary
A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Senior Technical Engineer in Boston.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide a quantifiable and awesome customer support experience for all our users
- Work with Customers to troubleshoot software problems in both cluster and single server environments
- Interact with our Engineering Team to drive to resolution the most challenging issues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to do remote and some on-site consultancy and training
- Experience with ticketing systems (JIRA, Zendesk, etc)
- Experience with at least one programming language, e.g. C++, Java, Javascript
- Network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, HTTP) and root cause analysis experience
- Unix/Linux system administration (RedHat, CentOS, CoreOS) experience
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, and SQL or NoSQL technologies
