Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Senior VDI Systems Engineer in Gaithersburg.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting Powershell scripting and powerCLI and process management and automation
  • Using PDQ to package and deploying applications
  • Automating VDI imaging (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must be local to DMV to go onsite to get equipment and get up to speed
  • Can go remote after 1st month or so if manager feels like consultant is up to speed
  • VMWare Horizon - what delivers the desktop application AWS Virtual environments
  • Windows configuration and patching
