Job Summary
A staffing company has a current position open for a Telecommute Sensor and Safety Integration Engineer II.
Must be able to:
- Provide product management support for the company's analytical software platform
- Complete full lifecycle/turnkey automation and information projects
- Design, develop and support cloud computing and all aspects of Data Analytics
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally up to 50%
- 5+ years of prior IT controls engineering experience (hardware and software) within the logistics automation, factory automation or similar industry required
- Four-year degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
- Basic PLC and HMI programming experience
- Experience with object-oriented programming language e.g. Java, Python
- Additional programming using C++, Halcon, and SCADA required
- Advanced knowledge of various types of networks required (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
