Job Summary

A food and agriculture company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Server Lead.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Lead 3 Engineers on the Server team to deliver strong value added features, and leverage cutting edge server technologies and architecture
  • Design and implement end-to-end features in a microservice architecture to support new software services
  • Continue to evolve our backend infrastructure by incorporating Kubernetes, Docker, and App Mesh networking

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in server/platform development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Business Development and Product
  • Solid programming fundamentals: common design patterns, data structures, object-oriented principles utilizing JVM languages
  • Relational, NoSQL, and time series database experience
  • Experience with continuous deployment, test automation, and test-driven development practices
