Job Summary
A company that provides accurate ASL interpreting services has a current position open for a Telecommute Sign Language Interpreter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing interpreting services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing customers in a variety of settings
- Arriving to shifts and assignments on time and prepared for work
- Exhibiting and maintaining professional and ethical behavior at all times
Qualifications for this position include:
- Provide effective communication in a video environment and/or on-site services environment
- 3 years VRS interpreting experience via video in a call center
- Possess fluent ASL and spoken English skills
- Accurate interpreting skills
- Must be in compliance with State Licensure requirements
- Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
