Job Summary

A company that provides accurate ASL interpreting services has a current position open for a Telecommute Sign Language Interpreter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing interpreting services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing customers in a variety of settings
• Arriving to shifts and assignments on time and prepared for work
• Exhibiting and maintaining professional and ethical behavior at all times

Qualifications for this position include:

• Provide effective communication in a video environment and/or on-site services environment
• 3 years VRS interpreting experience via video in a call center
• Possess fluent ASL and spoken English skills
• Accurate interpreting skills
• Must be in compliance with State Licensure requirements
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct
