Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Installing, upgrading, and managing systems powering the company's SaaS infrastructure
- Troubleshooting availability and performance issues
- Diagnosing production issues and performing front-line remediation
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) experience
- Experience working with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Chef or similar automation system experience
- Experience with HAProxy, PostgreSQL, Apache or similar technologies
- Strong networking knowledge: firewalls, TCP & UDP, DNS, SSL/TLS
- Strong understanding of monitoring principles
