Job Summary
A communications technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing & escalating delivery impediments, risks, issues & changes associated to the product development initiatives
- Assigning & monitoring work of technical personnel, ensuring that application development & deployment is done in best possible way
- Implementing quality control and review systems throughout the development and deployment processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong fluency in Linux environments is a must
- Scripting and/or programming skills and the ability to develop custom tool integrations
- L2, L3, load balancer, routing and VPN configuration
- Skilled at collaborating effectively with engineering teams
- Ability to simplify complex situations and lead calmly through periods of crisis
- Experience implementing and optimizing operational processes
