Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Site Reliability Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Creating and maintaining tools and solutions for serving editorial content
- Responding to alerts and handling urgent operations requests
- Teaching engineering teams to create and optimize cloud infrastructure
Qualifications for this position include:
- Familiar with hosting applications in a cloud environment
- Understanding of the flow of a web request down to the network level
- Comfortable with at least one flavor of Linux and its setup and maintenance
- Familiar with at least one scripting or automation language (eg: bash, python, ruby)
