An online tech publication is in need of a Telecommute Smart Home Guides Writer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Contributing to our Smart Home section
- Writing or updating an upwards of 8-10 guides
- Covering topics from the latest rumors regarding Echo devices to the newest methods for installing a smart light switch
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience writing and fact checking online
- Consistent time each day to write at least one or two guides (several hours)
- Desire to dive right into creating publishable content with minimal training
- The ability to turn around airtight copy quickly and reliably while using excellent editorial judgment is crucial
- Background covering the burgeoning smart home industry
- Familiar with key players in the space (Amazon, Philips, etc.), as well as third-party offerings
