Job Summary
A social media company has a current position open for a Telecommute Social Media Visual Systems Art Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborating closely with product designers, producers, art directors, illustrators, and animators to deliver compelling work
- Creating sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and/or design specs necessary to guide development of product experiences
- Working in collaboration with product teams to absorb knowledge, define opportunities, and develop concepts to bring ideas to life
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years experience as an Art Director at a creative agency or an in-house team
- Experience coordinating, directing, and guiding the work of other designers on the team as well as agency partners
- High proficiency in art directing illustration, animation, iconography and design systems
- Illustration expertise in a varied set of styles, with a understanding of color, composition and digital production
- Experience developing illustration concepts for motion and for telling universal stories
- Presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
