Job Summary

An education company is filling a position for a Telecommute Social Studies Curriculum Developer.

Must be able to:

• Design standards-based practice and assessment products
• Write and edit standards-based assessment items and age-appropriate reading passages
• Write and edit clear, thoughtful lessons for a variety of subject-specific skills

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Studies, Education, or Social Studies discipline
• 5 years’ experience (combination of teaching and curriculum development) in Social Studies
• Proficiency in writing, editing, and communication
• Careful attention to detail
• Strong creative and critical thinking skills
• Excellent research, Internet, and technical skills
