Job Summary
An educational provider has an open position for a Telecommute Social Studies Teacher in Los Angeles.
Must be able to:
- Acquaint students to their coursework and communicating course and school requirements
- Employ synchronous and asynchronous tools to supplement course content
- Maintain regular office hours to be reachable by students and parents
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- Teaching certification for 6-12 required
- CA state teaching certification in Social Studies with experience teaching in that subject
- Three years or more of classroom teaching experience with one year of online teaching experience
- Meet highly qualified teacher requirements
- All other requirements necessary for this position
