Job Summary
A non-profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Social Studies Test Item Writer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing test items for large-scale, customized assessment programs
- Writing multiple-choice, open response, short answer, and performance tasks
- Writing technology-enhanced educational assessment items
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or Doctorate in discipline (or in Curriculum, Measurement or another applicable area)
- 2+ years of teaching experience earned at the elementary, middle or secondary level
- Familiarity with national and/or state curriculum standards including the Common Core (for Math and ELA) and the Next Generation Science Standards, NGSS (for Science)
