Job Summary
A government administration is seeking a Telecommute Social Work Supervisor II in Asheville.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Making recommendations to the court, including services needed, progress and barriers to permanent plan
- Developing and monitoring service plans with families involved in Child Protective Services
- Assessing the risk and safety of children in response to actual or suspected child neglect, abuse, or dependency
Position Requirements Include:
- Knowledge of medical, behavioral, and socio-economic problems and their treatment
- Extensive knowledge of the laws, regulations, and policies which govern adult/child welfare programs
- bachelor's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related experience
- Knowledge of the methods and principles of casework supervision, training, and administration
- Extensive knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and their application
