Job Summary
A telecommunications company is seeking a Telecommute Software Defined Networking Consulting Sales Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Making technical sales-oriented presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management
- Assisting customers in configuring and testing products and networks in lab and field trials
- Providing expertise on particular technical issues or specific network architectures and applications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time
- Experience working with a Tier 1 Communications Services Provider
- 7+ years experience in telecommunications
- Extensive knowledge of SDN, NFV and Network Operating and OSS systems
- Extensive knowledge of Routing and Switching protocols
- Familiar with FTTH technologies
