Job Summary
An information technology company is seeking a Telecommute Software Developer in Boston.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Enabling the ingest, processing, and analysis of millions of events per second
- Contributing code to the software suite using a variety of languages, technologies, and environments
- Participating in the testing, deployment, and operation of complex systems, always seeking to learn and help the team succeed
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience working in a complex domain where you weren’t also a prototypical user
- Worked in a startup environment or top-tier, data-heavy tech company for more than 1.5 years
- Extensively written and worked with Python, Java, and/or golang
- Experience and a strong interest in networking, databases, cybersecurity, and operating systems
- Written software that operates on petabyte-scale, distributed data-infrastructure
- All other requirements necessary for this position
