Telecommute Software Development Accountant

Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Telecommute Software Development Accountant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing direct support for successful annual audit and tax work
• Assisting with the implementation of accounting procedures, systems, and controls
• Assisting in analyzing financial trends and variances to improve data accuracy

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance (or related) field
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a startup, corporate, consulting, or audit capacity
• Strong Excel skills, including data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial systems, processes, and all applicable accounting and tax standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
