Job Summary

A software development company is in need of a Telecommute Software Development Chief Accounting Officer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Overseeing our Accounting team
  • Managing annual close calendars, SEC filing calendars, and board meetings
  • Evaluating the accounting systems in place

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
  • 15+ years of experience with significant accounting leadership expertise
  • Expertise in SEC reporting
  • Extensive experience in delivering Annual 10K, Quarterly 10Qs, SEC form 8K, Form 3 and 4s timely
  • Expertise in Revenue Recognition Principles
  • Technical expertise in the development and maintenance of accounting and internal control systems
