Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Software Development Pipeline Technical Director.
Must be able to:
- Create and maintain VFX/game studio oriented geometry pipeline using USD
- Maintain existing and architect new python-based tools used for automation tasks
- Architect and oversee solutions for a CG asset management pipeline and database
Qualifications for this position include:
- At least 5 years of AAA game or feature film VFX experience in a similar role
- Experience with Pixar’s USD and VFX/game-dev geometry pipelines and pipeline automation
- Experience with 3d/2d Asset Database management and tooling
- Experience with Python
- Experience building and/or maintaining render farm pipelines (specifically cloud farms)
- Experience with software/game-dev “repo-based” production pipelines (Git, Perforce, PlasticSCM, etc.)
