Job Summary
A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Software Development Principal macOS Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create architectures and high-level designs to meet our strategic objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with distributed teams
- Work closely with engineering counterparts on other projects to ensure consistent architecture and product alignment
Qualifications Include:
- Experience with complex concurrency management using OperationQueue and Grand Central Dispatch
- Mastery of the differences between macOS and other Apple platforms
- Highly familiar with AppKit, Foundation, Core Graphics, Core Animation, and other relevant frameworks
- Strong technical communication skills that will enable you to collaborate effectively with peers and leadership
- Expertise in developing native applications for macOS (Swift, Objective-C, C++)
- Knowledge of C/Objective-C as used in macOS kernel-mode applications using both system space and user space
