Job Summary
Non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Software Engineer in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and developing web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails and/or Elixir/Phoenix frameworks
- Collaborating with development team to determine which technologies and approaches are best suited to address product needs
- Developing and maintaining new features, improvements, and bug fixes for various products
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Three years of professional experience in web application development
- Three years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails or Elixir development
- Experience with operational support and production maintenance, including emphasis on security, performance and uptime
