Job Summary

A consulting company has an open position for a Telecommute Software Engineer in Houston.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Promoting and guiding the growth and maturity of advanced analytics
  • Oversight of assigned IT development and support efforts
  • Evaluation and application of technology options

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience working with business communities to develop and deploy business analytics solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Advanced Analytics technical teams to develop, release and support deliverables
  • Demonstrated project management skills including resource planning and scheduling
  • Experience conducting software development activities within an agile environment
  • Experience managing a production software environment hosted in Linux
  • Experience with distributed big data architectures, and with APIs, such as JSON or XML
