Job Summary
A developer of HR management software is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Software Engineer Manager in Los Angeles.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coaching and mentoring junior developers in best practices and helping them grow as engineers
- Developing optimization for both computation resources, cost and developer time
- Presenting and sharing research across the organization
Qualifications for this position include:
- At least four years of work experience in strategic roles via computer science or similar analytical roles
- Experienced in web full-stack programming, including web applications, API's and mobile applications
- Experienced in designing distributed services including microservices, messaging and data design
- Experienced in debugging in cloud and distributed systems
- Experienced in leading a team, delegating tasks to junior level chunks as well as keep the team abreast of the overall system
- Structured, self-directed thinker
