Job Summary

A health insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Software Engineering Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Leading or being involved in efforts to evaluate, select and implement new technologies
• Understanding the business domain and product vision
• Hiring and managing managers and may hire and manage individual contributors

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software engineering/product leadership/product owner experience
• 4+ years of management experience
• Ability to see the totality of the business in its competitive context
• Understanding the stresses and risks inherent in significant organizational change
• Experience with large-scale consumer products
