Job Summary

An information technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Software Engineering Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and nurture teams of developers
  • Provide technical mentorship to Developers
  • Provide software/system deployment oversight

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years active software engineering experience and in depth knowledge of the assigned projects specific technology stack
  • 3+ years personnel management experience
  • Detailed engineering knowledge for a Cloud-based, full-stack, Java,and Python or Ruby on Rails application, including all related and relevant technologies
  • Excellent understanding of Agile software engineering frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Understanding of deployment methodologies in use for assigned products and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
