Job Summary
A software technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Software Technology Engineer II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing software to integrate a variety of vendor security tools into Falcon XDR
- Driving development of parsers and scalable data ingestion strategies
- Configuring a wide variety of security applications to assist development efforts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with data modeling and data structures
- Experience administering Humio and/or Splunk
- Experience scripting with the Splunk REST API and regular expressions
- Knowledge of data ingestion, field extraction, and post-ingestion processing
- Python scripting for automation skills
- Excellent communication skills, especially working with cross functional teams
