Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Software Web Designer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing and managing websites
  • Using best practices to design and create various web elements
  • Ensuring pages are cross-browser compatible, responsive and SEO friendly

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel to 1 team meeting and usually 1 conference per year, potentially more
  • Experience using a CMS like WordPress, HubSpot and Drupal
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Familiarity of PHP, JSON and Google Analytics
  • Comfortable with graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
  • A web portfolio that demonstrates examples of design and code skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO, UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
