Job Summary

A research and consulting organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Sourcing Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing of strategic sourcing initiatives through the introduction of a competitive marketplace
  • Identifying cost drivers/trends to create procurement strategies across the category
  • Leading negotiations of various types of supplier agreement

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of Procurement experience
  • Minimum 2 years as a Procurement Consultant, or Sourcing Manager or Category Manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with business case and pricing analysis, negotiation and more
  • Minimum 2 years of leading negotiations with various types of supplier agreements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing and maintaining supplier relationships
