Job Summary

An online school system is filling a position for a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in Kings County.

Must be able to:

  • Support assigned students receiving Special Education services
  • Provide direct services as needed to students in accordance with their IEP
  • Draft Assessment Plans and Prior Written Notices to send to Program Specialist

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel to meet in-person for IEP meetings or other responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
  • Valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
