Job Summary

An online school is in need of a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in Los Angeles County.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Instructing your students online via Blackboard/Class Connect Program
  • Working with students in a variety of different grades
  • Communicating via teleconference, email and phone

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability participate in-person for state testing at a location close to where you live
  • Ability to travel (rarely) to meet in-person for IEP meetings or other responsibilities
  • California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC
  • Permanent California Residence(Must currently reside in Los Angeles County)
  • Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe Disabilities
