Job Summary

An online school is filling a position for a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in Los Angeles County.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting assigned students receiving Special Education services
• Following up with providers to confirm that IEP attendance, reports, and services
• Drafting Assessment Plans and Prior Written Notices to send to Special Education Mentor within timelines

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel throughout the school year within and between assigned geographic areas to support students
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
• Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organization and time-management skills
