Job Summary

An online school is in need of a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in Placer County.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing direct and targeted instruction that meets the needs of the students
  • Conducting communications/conferences with students, learning coaches, and families
  • Grading student work and entering grades into an online grade book

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to attend all staff meetings, testing events and outings
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Permanent California Residence (must currently reside in Placer County)
  • Current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Education Specialist Instruction Credential
  • California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC
