Job Summary

An online school is in need of a Telecommute Special Education Specialist in Yolo County.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Teaching specialized academic instruction classes geared towards student goals
  • Communicating virtually via teleconference, regular phone calls, and online
  • Teaching via the Blackboard platform

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability travel to meet in-person for IEP meetings and participate in state testing
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Permanent California Residence (Must currently reside in Yolo County)
  • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge
  • Must hold a valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential
  • Other requirements as outlined in the job description
