Job Summary

A WordPress hosting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Special Projects WordPress Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Migrate partner sites to the best hosting platform that suits their needs
  • Build custom WordPress sites for our partners
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on previously-launched partner sites

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Familiarity with different hosting platforms
  • Ability to write a WordPress theme from scratch, in PHP
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/Sass, and WordPress
  • Familiarity with and adherence to the WordPress Theme Development Standards
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills using popular tools
