Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Splunk Architect.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Architect multi-site Splunk cluster that can handle 20+ tera bytes per day ingestion volume
- Provide day-to-day support on maintaining a large Splunk implementation
- Be on-call for responding to any Splunk related issues and resolve / escalate on time
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a software development or software support role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and administering Splunk platform
- 3+ years of experience in using configuration management solutions such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- 3+ years of Administering Unix / Linux, Windows and/or Network
- Excellent Shell scripting and/or Programming skill in any language
