Job Summary
An information technology advisory firm needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Splunk Engineer in Tysons Corner.
Must be able to:
- Support a large distributed clustered Splunk environment
- Design automated solutions for performance, privacy and compliance
- Be the engineering voice in helping recognize and onboard new data sources
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Knowledge of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and computer science basics
- 4+ years’ experience in a Splunk engineering role supporting SOC or NOC environments
- 3+ years’ experience with ServiceNow ITSM
- Experience troubleshooting and identifying root cause issues
- Experience with Windows and Linux Operating systems
- Experience maintaining Splunk and its underlying infrastructure
