Job Summary
A staffing firm has an open position for a Telecommute Splunk Subject Matter Expert.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assisting with back log of projects
- On-boarding new applications into Splunk
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years Splunk Build experience, this would include configurations for both Syslog-NG & Indexer
- Good interpersonal and communication (oral, listening and writing) skills are required
- Minimum 8 years total IT experience
- 3 years of which was hands-on-experience managing a large distributed Splunk environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multiple operating systems and hardware virtualization technologies
- Splunk 6.x experience required
